Dear all,

My name is Victor and now I am finishing a thesis on the history of the mechanical clock in Spain before the invention of pendulum. I am spanish (sorry for my poor english).

I am very interested on history of technology and I love to see old machines working. I´m not a tecnician, but a historian and now I´m trying to learn rudiments of horology. I find horology really attactive and watchmakers very clever people  So I told myself: "why not?"

Best regards to all of you.

Welcome Victor - like you I'm also interested in the history of technology (one of my college specialist subjects) - and an avid collector of watches.

Welcome from me too Victor, I'm sure you will enjoy this place and the amazing people and the incredible wealth of knowledge shared. Soon, you will become - in addition to being already a historian -- a "relojero" (?).

Cheers,

Bob
