Here we go!! I’m looking for a new 7750 movement holder which is a bit more robust than the A@F plastic one. I’ve looked on Ebay and found a bergeon one and a Chinese one. Exactly the same markings and seemingly the same quality from the same factory. Anyone had any experience with these and quality issues ??

My understanding is both are really just for setting hands. Neither do anything to clamp the movement (which was important to me). So I went with the Horia tool. Incredibly expensive but unmatched in quality.

You can save $$ buying it directly from Horia.

Hi,

I bought a copy one of the Horia example and was impressed with the quality. Prices seemed to vary wildly and I bought it from Ali-Express for around $120 (AUD) delivered.

Can you post a link please? Thanks

I have the AF and it works pretty well, the 31mm base fits perfectly in my Bergeon 8935 and the movement holder has also been drilled to allow the sub dials to be installed on the 8935.
