BFG 866 Balance wheel staff

I have bought a number of BFG 866 movements with damaged balance wheels.A number of them do not reach the jewel and I have checked all I have and it appears that there are two staff sizes. 4mm and 4.4 mm.. have the wrong ones been fitted with the 4mm staffs or is there more than one size for movement. I have two 13.5 and four 12. I ave tried online but cannot see if there is two different for them.

Hi,     Refer to balancestaffs.com for details, shows two sizes 403 and 466 hunderth of a mm.

Hi John Find enclosed the tech sheet apertaining to the BFG866. Note there are two types of staff on is the brass finger type the other is the jeweled roller type so which fits which watch depends on rollet type.

I concur, two variant of baumegartner 866 and 866 ,RC.   

New variant has impulse jewel on the roller.  The type other than you used, fits right in.
