Welcome to the forum Jeff. I've fitted a couple of glass pocket watch crystals, and a glass wrist watch crystal using G-S Hypo cement and it has worked very well. The excess cement also cleans off easily with alcohol and gives an excellent result.1 point

Hi Jeff, Maybe changing the crystal so the glue works? It may also be a better solution considering new crystals are more durable/safe...just a thought. I myself don't have much experience with pocket watches other than to disassemble them to use the movements....Hopefully you'll get more suggestions as the real pros chip in. Cheers, Bob PS.
