For the high precision required for making watch parts I would recommend a watchmakers lathe. If buying second hand try to ensure all is correct regarding condition. A mini lathe is indeed a very handy tool and good for the likes of model and clock making, but does not generally have the higher precision required for watches.1 point

I have been considering purchasing a watchmakers Lathe and or a mini metal lathe for making stems, staffs and other parts. a torquing wrench is required on larger equipment. you could use a 1/4 inch torque wrench with a special made case wrench. vinn1 point

I have a bezel remover see pic but to be honest I don,t like it. The best way I have found to remove a bezel is with a old butter knife. It has a nice thin blade but is flexible so no damage to the bezel or case. Trusty butter knife/bezel remover
