rose gold (steel) scratches

Recommended Posts

Hello, just curious if there are any solutions for this.

I've sent a watch to a friendly watch repair shop. Had two issues - scratched glass and the bezel (rose gold in colour, steel underneath) is scratched. The bracelet is scratched too, but its less visible.

The repair man is a fantastic guy, and very helpful. Unfortunately in this case he couldn't help with the glass because the bezel is seized he says.

I wonder if there is any way to get scatches out ''in-situ'' - I dont want to do it myself - I bought a dremel and some sandpaper / pastes - and made it twice as bad :( :(   (and thats where the bezel scratch came from too).

It's not an expensive watch, but I just like it.

Any ideas or thoughts about anything else I might try?

Thanks
