I have a vintage watch that needs a crystal replacement and I'd like confirmation from someone that the right crystal for it is a non-tensioned acrylic crystal. I'd guess a normal one but maybe someone else can correct me.

As you can see the chapter ring leaves little room between it and the case and the approximate space between the ring and the case is about 0,5mm. Is this right ?

I don't have any acrylic crystals around so I just need someone to confirm or deny this because I have to order one soon.

That would be an option as well but are the non-tensioned ones thicker than 0,5 ? I'm asking because I don't have any left and I don't remember what they're like hehe...

That's good to hear. I could sandpaper it just a bit in case it needs some correcting.

Just out of curiosity what is the non-tension ring crystal equivalent of ATC crystals ? Is it High Dome with step or without step ? (not sure what the difference is...)

´Not sure. Feels like the non tension ring low dome is lower and the high dome is a little higher then the ACT crystal. If i would guess i would say high dome. Think cousisnuk have a document of the crystals.
