Movado Battery

I have an older Movado watch that I have replaced the battery in a few times.  I noticed this last time a small piece of plastic of some sort fell out and I don't know where it goes.  I think it supposed to go under the battery in some way but i'm not sure.  If I put in a new battery the watch doesn't work is the reason i'm asking. Any idea

That lookks like a ETA movement. There should be a thin protection on between the plate and battery. If you don't have the plastic there it will short cut. Looks like you need a new plastic piece though?

CousinsUK has the plastic insulators if you need one. Theoretically yours should be over there as well.
