Optical Bargain!

Hi guys, I thought you might be interested in my latest purchase Dental Binocular Loupes. Magnification is 3.5x and working distance is 320mm. They come in a nice padded case with lens caps, screwdriver, clip on adjuster and lens cloth.

I bought these brand new on Fleabay from China, total cost including delivery was £26.60. What was even better, it only took eight days from placing the order to delivery.

It took a few minutes to set up, but once done I was very impressed, especially for the money. They might not suit everyone and for detailed oiling of escapement a you will still need a more powerful loupe, but for assembly purposes they are excellent.

Excellent find Geo, congratulations. I'll check your link. Optics is one thing I seem I can't get enough!

I think I will try some myself. Optics is one area I have never really been comfortable with as I wear glasses.
