ETA 2836 (Bulova cal. 1413.11)

Hi,

I have a watch with ETA 2836 movement (17 jewels, day/date indicator).

The crown does not go back to the 1st position, only 2 (adjust day/date) and 3 (adjust hands).

From the third crown position, when turning the crown, in certain positions the whole stem comes out.

I have a strong suspicion that I will have to have it serviced, unless you can advice me what might cause the problem and there is an easy fix for that.

(I have found this video - but this is slightly different problem depicted (unable to move the crown to 3rd position (hands adjustment ))

No easy fix, for starters we don't know what is causing the problem, it might be a part has broken and is jamming stuff, it could be just a part that has got out of place. The movement needs to come out of the case, remove the hands and dial and have a good look.
