Got this very old Elgin Pocket Watch working again by giving it a good cleaning. After assembling it I noticed that the balance was not true to the round so I adjusted it with the truing caliper wrench, without taking the balance off the balance cock. A lot of luck I think. Enjoy.

Jdrichard...I bought this pocket watch last year , it is clicking good and manufactured around 1877 ...please what is your opinion ?...

Nice piece, is it running. I do like the hunter with the 90 deg case opening.

Yes it is running and in need of some care ..I love to hear the clicking..yep 90 degrees
