Currently bidding on a pocket watch with a mivement looking like an early Jaeger LeCoultre one. It has Breguet HS, swiss lever, HS mounted with two screws, crown and ratchet wheel have wolf teeth and are mounted with 3 screws each. But the layout is mirrored to the one i found on ranfft.de, some screws are missing and no logo/name on the movement and on the dial. Reading a bit after JLC history they say that JLC had around 200-300 different movements manufactured around 1900.

What do you think? Is it possible that they made movements without their logo/name on the movement and on the dial? Is this a blank JLC for another watch making company?

No link and picture sorry, will add it after the bidding :)

I was thinking your question relates to a bigger picture question of who made certain watches? In other words you see these really nice older pocket watches with the features you describe and there's no name? So you wonder who made it after all how many people were making really nice pocket watches at that time?

Then I don't have a picture with the balance wheel this is a really tiny cylinder watch. No name on the back no name on the dial visibly no name anywhere. Upon disassembly though there is a name.

Recieved the pice. Just a number "2" under the balance and the center wheel bridge. Did not disassembled further. Luckily the pivots are fine. Only issue is with the hairspring (which is beautifull blue Breguet :) ), it is bent a bit and the balance is sticking to it. But the whole diameter is only 5mm! How can i repair this?

Take the power off first you don't want to damage it any more then it is. Unscrew the balance cock and detach the balance complete for the cock. Now you can observe the hair spring and see what the problem is. Post a good close up photo so we can have a look.

I have also found the LeCoultre&Co logo on the bottom of the barrel bridge :)
