I have a Tissot  2461 movement which is very clean and runs well. The only problem is the date does'nt

change. Narrowed it down to the jumper spring or lack of it. I'm on my second jumper spring now. Can anyone

assist me in how this little spring is fitted because the easiest way to lose them is if you dont know where they

go and you keep lifting them out. I presume it fits in the groove of the little cover but which way round does it go.

I see to have tried every way but still it won't work. Any help would be appreciated

The spring fits into the small plate, install the plate with the spring lying on top of the date wheel. Then use a oiler or sharp tool to push the spring further under the plate so that it contacts the date wheel correctly.

This is  what works for me!

Thanks guys but can you tell me how the spring fits in relation to the little bar. I presume the square shaped piece of the spring

faces the date wheel and does it fit on top of the bar pushing into the date wheel?

Thanks Chris
