2609 HA - Help Required

Hello Everyone. Help needed please. 

2609HA. I've serviced the watch and oiled it, however, when dial side up, the watch really slows down to almost stopping. The only thing I can think of is to clean to balance jewels. Could this be the issue? Or could there be something else? Thanks for looking and help you can help!

Hi there and welcome , its what you said and check the balance axis for some damage.

Check the balance staff for wear such as roughness or chipped pivot or even broken. Make sure the jewel are good and the holes are round, not loose. check end stones, make sure they aren't loose. Is the impulse pin tight and smooth, check pallets. Make sure you use the correct oil and don't use to much, don't oil the pallet pivots.

Could be a dirty balance clock jewel or a bent balance staff pivot. Have you checked the hairspring isn't catching on anything when dial up.
