J.W.Benson pocket watch mainspring

Hi,

Does anyone know what Mainspring a J.W.Benson ref: 939 pocket watch takes, it is a Tavannes calibre 939 I cant find it on the Ranfft web site. I have a J.W.Benson which is complete but is missing the mainspring.

Sometimes  Tavannes comes under Cyma. You need to read their history about their making of watches to understand the reason. Do you have any of the mainspring to measure for height and strength, what about the size of the barrel and arbor and what type of end should the spring be.

Yes many thanks found one at cousins under Cyma. The watch came without the mainspring the barrel and arbor and everything else is there just no spring.
