Evening folks

i am starting another watch build project, (love keeping myself occupied ), and this time the movement is going to be a 2836 as I have picked up a couple cheaply (a good time to start a complete strip down in my opinion)

i have been watching Marks 2824 strip down video and have 2 questions.

1/. is the 2836 movement similar as it appears to the 2824?

2/. Do the 2836-1 and 2836-2 share many common parts (happy to be enlightened on this subject as there appears to be a 4 Jewel difference as I can tell

as ever, thank you for any replies

ETA 2836-1/2 is the day-date version of the 2824-1/2 . So in it's the same movement and share many parts from the 2824 movement . Where the extra jewels are i don't now? Maybe the reverse wheels?

Thanks Rogart, that confirms what I was thinking, (it takes time to learn something new, but knowledge grows every day)

most appreciated

Dial side has some different parts to accommodate the day wheel.  The calendar gear, and its spring set up is completely different to that of the 2824-2.
