Bergson autowinder

Hi guys. Sorry if this is a silly question.

If you fully wind a watch and then leave it on the autowinder, should you still wind it every couple of days or should the watch run for let's say a week without being wound and keep perfect time?

If you have wind it and the let it stop or not, doesn't make a difference.

To keep "perfect time" you need the watch regulated, or observe how it gains / lose time when left resting in some particular position to compensate any error while wearing it.

Depends on the autowinder and the winding mechanism. If the watch has a unidirectional winding mechanism and the autowinder is turning it the "wrong directon" it will stop after the reserve ends. The mainspring need at least over 30% of its full power to keep good time.

Hi. Thanks for the replies. Basically I have serviced two slava movements and they have been regulated and fully wound before putting on the autowinder. After around five days they have stopped. Is this normal or not? Thanks
