From Cousins news page:

"Swatch Group advise Cousins that the supply of watch parts is to totally cease after December 2015, this will affect all brands including Omega, Tissot, Certina, Rado, CK and Longines."

What a pleasant bunch.

This has been on the cards for a while now. I don't think it affects the supply of eta movement parts but rather genuine case and bracelet parts.

Not much use when asked to repair an existing watch. Scrolling through the best fit book seems the only hope.

I have written to Swatch for answers,"watch this space"

As far as I know this affects branded parts (like omega crowns and pushers) and not so much movement parts like a new 4th wheel for a regular movement.

I would imagine it will restrict special parts for co-axials as well.

still annoying all the same! given the sort of people we are, there's nothing like putting genuine parts back! I think it will devalue the brands on the second hand market myself, or rather slump the value of repaired watches.
