ROBUR GLASS PRESS

Hi all,

I have just managed to get a 31 set of Dies for £46 for the Robur Glass Press.... bargain.

Problem is the Flat Die is missing and I can't find out where, or how, to obtain another one. Any ideas?

Also can someone enlighten me as to, how to use the Bakelite dies? especially the domed type, do they push from below the glass?

Have you checked cousinsuk? They sell Robur stuff.

yes. They do all the bakelite dies and the kits, but they don't sell the aluminium ones separately, only the kit.

If it comes to it I can modify the smallest one and attach an aluminium platform to it. It will do the same job.

Sorted it with a flat die from the old kit and the second to smallest flat die, which fits into the housing perfectly.

Also can someone enlighten me as to, how to use the Bakelite dies? especially the domed type, do they push from below the glass?
