Or rather, I need hands. I somehow managed to lose the minute hand from a Rotary wristwatch and need to order another.
Question is, what size do I order. I can measure the pinion, but clearly I need something a little smaller to allow the friction fit, but how much smaller, or is that allowed for in the stated bore measurement. I'm looking at the cousins site.

best would be to find out which movement it is? And search for it on Ranfft movements?  But if you measure it with a good caliper you could come close enough. There is no need for a super tight fit. Minute is maybe 0,70 mm and the pinion is 0,70 and the minute hand has a inside dia of 0,68. Measure the pinion and that would be the size.

According to ranfft you need 0.9mm for the minute hand. The hour hand is 1.5mm and the seconds hand is 0.21mm.

Right, I see that now, thanks.

So, I just order by pinion size, and the hands are slightly undersized to fit.
