O, Wow! I've never tried jets; flew a turboprop once for an hour. Much like a 172 - just different.

My cousin flew CF100's for years. They used to have issues with their fuel pumps.

Gulfstream V? Just wondering. William Shatner's character in Street Legal used to have one. I'd love to get in the driver's seat for a few minutes...

I used to fly a lot but can't anymore. I liked every airplane I've ever flown but the 172 is my favourite by far.

I did a little gliding but it was more expensive that powered flight!

As a pilot ( One hour flying time )  I am at a loss as to how anyone ever managed to fly,  never mind stay alive in a hostile environment with people trying to kill you,  when there are such a multitude of instruments that need looking at.  The aircraft is the English Electric Lightning.

My cousin was in charge go flight training in the RCAF and had a chance to take a ride in a Harrier once. The Harrier pilot greeted him with the words, "Do you see that yellow handle in front of your seat?" When my cousin said yes the Harrier pilot said, "if you see I'm gone, pull it."
