Anyone have ideas as to the best way of correcting the six baton on this Omega without fetching the dial off.

It looks like the marker foot that protrudes to the other side is broken anyway, so removing the dial probably wont help you anyway.

This is just going to have to be done very carefully with a tiny spot of thin, precise glue directly on the dial, under the marker. Old broken oilers are perfect for this if you have any. Otherwise anything with a fine point like a pin should suffice.

+1 Ishima.  Make sure you use a proper glue compatible with watches and crystals.  Using super glue or similar will likely cause damage to the crystal, dial and the watch works (from the fumes).  I too have read/seen where oilers are used as well to apply glue/lume ,  By their design, the tip seems to hold and apply the material better than just a straight pin or needle.  Just an opinion.

just my two cents,

don't put any glue in the hole!!

unless you know what lies beneath it.

it's not repairable, alaskamick.....better to just get rid of it by sending it to me. it'll be hard to do but, i can live with a wonky dial.

:D
