Looking For A New Manual Wind Watch

So...I've been hankering for a new manual wind watch. Something in the price range of around $500.00 US.

Something around 39-40mm. Maybe aviator style or traditional.

 

What are some quality manual wind movements in this price range? What would be your choice of movement ???

Im not looking for an Automatic.

 

I'm more concerned with the quality of the movement and not the name on the dial. 

 

Any good recommendations??

Old chronograph like Lemania and BWC seams to be more and more popular? $500 could be a nice chrono?
