Just bought and am about to try the L&R ultrasonic cleaner and rinse in my ultrasonic machine. A few quick questions:

1). I plan to seal the jars to reduce fumes. I don’t think that will be an issue (pressure buildup?) but curious if anyone has had an issue with this.

2) I am planning a 4 minute wash followed by 2X 3 minute rinse. I am assuming it is not advisable to use heat with solvent based products, but again if anyone has advice in terms of an  optimal temperature - I’m all ears.

3) If using a two jar solvent rinse process, is there any need for a third rinse in IPA or is that just overkill?

I keep mine in the jugs they came in and mason jars. I've not had any issues with it evaporating past the seals. One Dip is the only watch cleaning chemical I've experienced that with.

I usually do fives, but it's pretty arbitrary. However long it takes to get the job done without doing damage is fine. I usually turn the heater on when I start, but don't really wait for it to get there. I've done it cold as well, and haven't noticed any difference.

Rinsing in IPA is probably not as good as the L&R rinse. I doubt it's undoing any of the cleaning progress made, but it's not really gaining you anything either.
