New Hobby Horologist. (if I can call myself that?)

Brand new to This wonderful hobby of collecting expensive tools and occasionally using them.

I'm based in the North West of the United Kingdom (which is really only just past halfway up).

I stumbled onto this hobby when I bought and old Pocketwatch from a Car Boot and thought "I could try this", followed by, "how much for a screwdriver".

I wish I had been given the option to choose this as a profession but I'm a little too old to go back to school.

Please excuse the obvious questions. Hopefully there are a few of us asking the same "stupid" questions and we can all gather together for protection.
