Hamilton 987A square mens watch from the 1940's

Recommended Posts

In working on my grandfathers Hamilton Endicott, I had to get two parts movements.  This one is quite nice and I think can be fixed with the parts from the third watch.  The problem is, I didn't come with a case and I have been unable to identify it.  It's a nice tank style face, and I think would make a nice addition once cleaned up to my rotation.  If anyone can point me to a catalog for Hamilton from the 1940's I would appreciate it.  Of, if you know what the model of this watch is, that would even be better.

I've seen a number that are similar (like the Dodson), but most have rounded corners for the train tracks that go around the hours and seconds, and thins has a nice hard corner.  The others also seem to bulge at the 3 & 9, but this does not.
