That's an old one, never seen that type before. Does it print out? I should think it has valves and God know what. Is it in working condition.

It doesn't look to have any capability to print out details of a result. I can't quite make out the analog scale, going tk ask the seller for a closer picture. It turns on but thats the only information the seller has provided.

no print out just an analog meter and probably transistors. it reminds me of a timing machine that Greiner made.

No valves, probably a big bunch of TTL ic. This style was trendy in the 70s.

I found another example in a science museum site. Approx date 40's to 70's

Thanks for the input guys, seller never got back to me regarding extra info so thats always a good sign that something is amiss.  It was cheap at only around £40 that might have been an interesting useful addition to my appliance collection. But more likely a waste of cash. This is another example in a museum collection

Surely not. Sell the mic alone and you may get the double amount 😬

    • I've got a similar one, but never had to use it yet. I would try a couple of M4 (or whichever) washers under each blade, and possibly longer countersunk machine screws, either hex or torx drive so the blades can be really solidly locked down. It does not appear there can be much depth of thread in the blocks above the slide shafts, so matching the screw length to the blade height is probably quite important.
    • Don't the holders have different sizes front & back? I started out with some cheap cast metal ones, but had a lot of trouble with the movements coming loose, so I got a pair of Bergen ones from cousins, a 4039 and a 4040. Those a well made, properly machines and between them they cover from around 10mm up to all the pocket watches I've had so far.
    • Hi Friends, As you might have seen yesterday I'm on to my second restoration and its a Seiko from the 70's (i'm pretty sure) I need to source a new Crystal but I'm struggling to figure out how to identify what type it is. (I did some forum searching but couldnt come up with anything) I'm pretty sure its mineral glass (and that lines up with what I've read online) the outside is flat, there is a pretty good sized bevel around he outside edge, but the inside is surface is concave. It measures 31mm in diameter, and at its thickest (around the edge) its 2.1mm. I was hoping to hop on Esslinger to order up a replacement but that hasn't worked out. I can't find anything of this style.  Any ideas? Thanks so much.
    • I'm having difficulty finding an exact match to the spare case & what movement it originally had? The nearest I can find are the Power Glide, with a 560RSS movement and Borgel case - though that model has a deep case back for the automatic works, while my case has a flush back. https://gruen.watch/?product=gruen-geneve-23-precision-power-glide-560rss https://www.birthyearwatches.com/product/c1959-gruen-power-glide-automatic/ The case shape and crown detail are identical to that, and dimensions match except for depth.   The 560 appears to be the same diameter as the 510 and from the same era, so it does seem possible that it's for a less common 510 version? I just have to find an appropriate dial to suit it.
    • A have this chinese clone DG2813 movement can a eta 2813 mainspring fit in this movement it doesn't tell you what mainspring to you in this movement are very similar ?
