Since I am starting to accumulate a few "parts movements" of the 6497 clone, one thing I would like to figure out is how to get access to the underside of the balance bridge (is that also called the cock?).  If I read something correctly on this forum someplace, I need to disconnect the balance spring from the stud, but I don't see a way to do that.  It was my understanding that there is normally a screw that you would undo on the stud to loosen this and it would come apart.  I'm not seeing a screw on the clone... does that mean it does not come off?

This is an Etachron stud

Okay, dumb question, am I to assume that Etachron is a specific type of stud... similar to how Incabloc is a type of shock system?

I did find a nice post from 2021 that @Jon did covering how to remove this... it looks quite involved.  Sounds like a good thing to learn especially if I have two parts watches to work with, but may be beyond where I am right now.  One thing I don't understand from the powerporint file that Jon had shared was in the last three slides.  There are these labels of DU, DD, CD, CL and CR.  Does that indicate the position of the watch in the Timegrapher?

DU = Dial Up

DD = Dial Down

CL = Crown Left

CD = Crown Down

Positions when using a timegrapher
