Hello,

When I was a small lad back in the 1950s my great-grandfather took apart his pocket watch to show me how it worked.  It had belonged to his father who worked at the Crewe Locomotive Works as an engine fitter.  I have  had an affinity for watches ever since but never imagined it was something I could enjoy doing as a retirement hobby.  Now I wish I had taken it up much sooner but better now than never.  I have just completed Lesson One of Mark's WatchFix lessons and spent far too much on tools.  Looking forward to undertaking the tear down and reassembly of a Seagull 6497 movement and hoping not to have too many parts left over when done.
