Pocket Watch Movement Identification Mark

Recommended Posts

There are two on mikrolisk of a similar style. Emil Hoffman. And Jules Sandoz but both have initials either side of the arrow,  maybe another trawl of the site might be fruitful.     Mikrolisk. It’s in German and using the description search requires the text in German.

Hi Jim  just had a shufty round the net  not found anything new.  The name engraved on the watch could well be the retailer.  are there any hall marks in the case as this will point to where the case was made / assayed,  london birmingham  etc.

Thats not cross gates in Leeds is it ?

It certainly looks like an English lever   Engraved Manchester road Bradford, and the name  Mullarky I think.   The mark on the plate eludes me just now.  Would like to see the rest of it though.        Cheers

The English watch and case maker Ehrhardt used the winged arrow in various designs.

Also have a look for the initials W.E. William Ehrhardt.
