I had to drill out a broken case pin, luckily I have some micro drill bits but I'm not sure about the quality.  Can anyone recommend a good make and where to buy them?

🤔 been thinking the same Rich. I have some unused vintage drills that go down to 0.1mm, and some cheap crap . Ive been looking at some carbide bits to try.

Just checked Cousins but £54 a set or £6.50 each.  A happy medium would be good.

So i bought some cheap carbide drills after our discussion and they arrived today. Compared to the supposed hss bits i bought a while ago which were rather naff, these are far better. I cant comment on the steel quality but they have very good sharp accurate cutting faces. Ten drills from From 0.1 to 1.0 mm. Up to 0.2mm the edge was sharp , the 0.1mm at the half the size was difficult to see even at x 40 but yet to view through another biological scope i have. Still find it amazing that a cutting face of 5 hundredths of a mm is a thing.

I'm not going to need any for a while so keep me posted on how they perform.
