Watch becomes overbanked when in the dial up position. Runs perfectly otherwise

Not surprising really, the shock protection has gone but the cap jewel, which the pivot runs against is in place. Ugly attempt at repair though. -
So I’ve been doing this washer trick for a couple of weeks now and I have to tell it it is genius — haven’t fouled a single seiko mainspring since. Thanks again.

I took this watch as part exchange for a Seiko 5 I restored and sold Looks like someone lost an incabloc spring and thought “I know what, I’ll use glue here!” Surprisingly is nearly runs!
