Hi everybody
This is my first post and I would ask you a tabletop hobbyist question about a Seiko Kinetic modification.
I would substitute the original (broken) movement with a not rechargeable battery quartz movement. A guy from another forum suggested me how to identify the item model, so on the case back I read 3m22 OD39.
I’m not a watch engineer, I only would reuse the Seiko Kinetic case for a not rechargeable battery movement. As you can imagine, I'm playing watchmaker.
During the last few years, the kinetic movement capacitor was replaced by technician, than, a pair of years later, the full movement has been replaced by the same technician with an used item ( I think ) . We spent about 200 euro for the two repairs. At the end, about an year after the last repair, the watch stop working, likely for the old capacitor.
So here I’m, looking for any replacement movement with unchargeable battery.

Thanks
Regards
Flaviano

hi   the 3m22 listed at cousins as discontinued.  So to replace it with an alternative you need to measure the case, and the movement and dial then its a case os searching places like speedtimerkollection.com in europe for a movement and other material houses for new movements.  cheers
