New Tool

I picked up this set the other day for a nice price, they clean up well. The sets not quite complete though as under the #3 winding arbor is a #4 barrel - not sure I'll ever use that size, but I'll need to look out for one now. What I find curious, and it's the same with many old tools I've bought, is there is no sign of a makers mark on any of the winders or the box. The only marks on them are "FRANCE" and "DEPOSE", which I think means registered - who by who knows?

Nice find ! i have been looking for a mainspring winder for some time . But i haven't really found anything of interest . Either not complete or broken or to expensive .

I like to look at the various European eBay sites, as they often have items that don't show on .com or .co.uk. Even if the seller states they will only post domestically, they often will send internationally if you ask. I have been able to pick up some good bargains that way. Good luck!
