It would be good if you could post a picture to let folk see exactly what problem is.

If it is chrome and not stainless, I don't think there will be a lot you can do.

It is chrome, they scratch so easy

I would suggest that you just give it a good polish with Solvol Autosol. Do not do it too aggressively or too often as you will eventually wear through the chrome finish.
