I've been working on a Seiko 7016. I've disassembled and cleaned the movement.

But I'm stuck now. I've downloaded the Seiko service manuals provided by @watchweasol in another post but the pdf is all in black and white and I can't distinguish where to use a light oil, heavy oil and grease. The original legend in Seiko's oil charts must have been colour coded.

Does anyone have the coloured version? I would really appreciate it.

TIA

Yeah, that sucks a little. I'd imagine you can use the 7Sxx guide for the movement side. Not sure what to do on the chrono side, but I would think you can't go totally wrong following standard practice when oiling the chrono's in general?

I've had the same issue with downloads where they don't work then all of a sudden they're OK.

I can't download this one either at the moment.

We’ll need @Mark to have a look at it Andy. I haven’t had a problem yet but software can be funny at times.

Thanks, now it works. So it seems that Moebius synth v lube (9020 i think) is not needed, why did they put it in the legend? And what do you reccomend instead of seiko S3 S4 S6?
