I have just serviced this Swiss made golf scorer. The main interest to a watchman is that the reset of the scores is done by turning the crown a full circle and each score is reset by the 'hammer' labelled A in exactly the same way as the second and minute hand flyback resets of a chronograph.

That is a neat little gadget, and quite well made.

I haven't ever seen one. I will need to keep an eye out for them.
It is basically the simplest form of mechanical adder/calculator.
Not quite a Curta, but very interesting none the less.

I've seen a handful of golf scoring devices, but that one is the most elaborate by far. Never owned one or had one apart (not a golfist, nor do I really know any golfists), but that looks like a fun little... movement?

Hi Jack,

I have the same one, how much would you estimate a servicing is and are you located in the United States? Regards

I had this in my workshop to fit a new glass and to clean out accumulated dirt. I cannot estimate time needed to fully service. A guestimate would be two days assuming no need for parts. And no, I am on the other side of the pond. All the best.
