Hello all, hope we are all doing well.

I need help with my Slava 2428 rebuild. The horseshoe shaped spring with two short alternate facing right angled ends. I know this slots in to the hole under the clicker. I have then wound it around the outside of the pivot point but then in which recess on the clicker does the opposite end go? Is it the smallest recess wich is furthest it can go from the end in the hole? Or am I totally completely wrong? I Did have it in the nearest recess but you get a lot of anti clockwise recoil on the crown after clockwise winding. So my guess would be the smallest, furthest recess is correct? And around the outside of its pivot point?

I am only a beginner in this wonderful world so please forgive my mainly guessed terminology.

Any help or confirmation would be appreciated.

Take care all,   David....

Yes that's helpful. Wouldn't it be nice to have an English key.

I think I have the spring correct. Just in the wrong recess in the clicker. Hence the slight back wind when winding, and not a hugely loud click. Someone asked me for a picture but that's a seriously small spring.

Thanks for the two sheets sir. All the best.
