no, it is a weigh scale. Resolution is 1/1000 gram. Has units of grams, drams and something else. it works

Drams = decigrams? 1/1000 of a gram is verging on measuring atmospheric pressure, surely? It probably got ditched by a company not willing to pay for calibration of such a sensitive instrument.

I understand from the seller that a jewelry store locally, had to downsize. They sold enough to contract into a smaller space. The Witschi was part of the same event
