Hi Folks,

About a year ago I modded a Seiko SNK. All went well and I’ve been enjoying the watch. Recently the watch is only achieving about a 3hr power reserve and then the second hand fell off. I reset the second and and it runs well but still doesn’t charge the power reserve properly. The sound of the rotar spinning is quite ‘loose’ as though it doesn’t have much resistance. Anyone know where I might turn to for some guidance?

Sounds like defective magic lever, what caliber is the movement in your watch, if magic lever bearing is jeweled it can brake. Tooth on transmission wheel wear too. 

You really can't be sure without taking the backplate off and inspect the auto device.
