Hi we will need clear pictures of the rear of the movement  in order to see which release mechanism it has. They all differ some require pressing a stud, others pressing a small lever only visible when the stem in in the hand set position. so without the pictures we would be guessing.      This is a solar powered watch.  with a capacitor to drive the circuit block.

Remove stem from a 8c23 Seiko quartz watch  were to depress cant find help

That small image doesn't help much but the release end of the setting lever should appear with the correct crown position, in the round hole right of the stem, I can faintly see an arrow marking there. For your reference attached the service document.

you say the round hole right of the stem, another FORM says its the square hole push

WHICH IS IT?? DOES ANY ONE NO  FOR SURE I CANT SEEM TO GET IT OUT -- REPLY THANK'S
