Watch case

Recommended Posts

The first thing you need to know when looking for a case, is what size the movement is.

Assuming this to be an ETA 2892 (which is by best guess based on your question) then in that paqrticular case the movemenet size is 11.5''' or 11.5 ligne

Next you need to know where the crown and pushers are. http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-db.cgi?10&ranfft&&2uswk&ETA_2891_9

The best source for this information, in this case would probably be ETA themselves.

2892-A2 technical PDF is here.

Now armed with that information, you can start trawling through the various sites that sell cases, however where you have a movement that has more than a simple single crown, you may need to get creative, and machine an existing case, a movement retaining ring or spacer (which you may be able to 3d print from plastic) or even machine the entire case from scratch.

Then of course you will need a dial and hands.....
