Pocket watch glass

Hello I need to order a acrylic glass for my pocket watch but what is the difference between stepped and not stepped. I repair wrist watches but don’t usually mess with pocket watches.

The image below from the Sternkreuz catalogue might make it easier to see the differences between the different categories of pocket watch crystals. The stepped crystal literally has a small step around the perimeter; perhaps where there is a snap on bezel that makes this necessary. Typically however most watches use one of the non-stepped versions.
