New Rectangular Chronograph Pushers Fitting Question

Recommended Posts

Hi

I'm in the process of replacing the pushers on an old Landeron chronograph and was wondering the best method of cutting notches in the new rectangular pushers.  Thanks in advance for any suggestions and excited to be part of the community now.

Don’t have a picture handy now, but ordered a new pair of rectangle pushers from Otto Frei  They come with just the blank stem attached to the pusher that needs to be trimmed for length. Additionally, the recess/notch/groove needs to be cut into the stem for the flyback lever and operating lever’s “hook” to rest in and make the chronograph buttons function. I’m just wondering if anybody has a good non-lathe method to create those grooves   Thanks again
