I have not explained myself clearly. The pillars that should be attached to the dial are in the movement, the pillars that are attached to the bracket fit into the holes that the broken pillars are in.

Hmmm the pillars are still attached to the dial and were secured in the bracket they just needed to be un-pinned once away I could then re-attach the pins which were sat in the movement. So I have two sets of pins one for the pillars on the back of the face to attach to the bracket the other to the bracket to attach the pillars to the movement.
