When I look at watchmaker workbenches i see that it is performed in many different shapes and designs. I would like to see and hear about your experience with watchmaking Workbenches. What to prefer in and what will you recommend. Image of your own solutions will be great. It is specifically the top plate I am thinking about! Thank you in advance ...

Having just read the complete thread again, I suggest you at least remove the stem from the watch and see if it starts running. If all is well it should. If it does there could be an issue with the stem (it may not be the correct one) and if it doesn't run a complete strip and clean is most definitely required during which time any other faults should be found.1 point
