Hello everyone,

I'm happy to be here.  I am an electronics engineer by profession -- so tiny, delicate components are nothing new to me... but working on watches provides a mental satisfaction absent from that work because with timepieces, I get the opportunity to actually SEE how the parts interact.  I also find that, when I look at a movement in detail, I can't help but to think about the craftsmen and engineers who designed and built such fine and intricate machinery.
