Hampden jewel change?

Need to change two or three jewels in my old Hampden gladiator. But they looked like they are rolled in. How do i do that. Need any special tools . To open and close the lip? Are they expensive?

Need some new tools . Seen used ones from auctionsites. Hopefully i can find som good ones cheap. Are they called rubbing tools? Any special brand i should look for? Maybe this is more a tool thread . But admin can move if needed.
