Uncovered treasure?

Hi folks, I've just come across this longines watch that unfortunately does not run, my first ever movement with jewles in! 

Now I presume as it's longines it's worth having a go at fixing instead of just replacing the moment? Has anyone got any tips on where to start? (I know it could be anything but if anyone knows of any common faults or best place to start) 

The hands move freely with stem pulled out and have tried a new battery.

You could try a "line free" box to see if it can come back to life. Search forum for more info on what that is.

Otherwise not much chances of repairing a quartz mov.t,, although e.g  you can get a NOS coil here https://www.bergotime.com/prodotti/fornitura/21-circuiti-bobine/

Easier to replace it completely.
