imageproxy.php?img=&key=77f0dcc5ac0f9d5bHello im trying for the first time to take apart a watch and clean it and put it back together its a 1950\51 Waltham and i was surprized for its age how good it worked for its age got it off ebay to do this and learn. Anyways I took out the movement ate dinner and went back to find it out of the movement holder the second hand off and my son hes 5 saying it Just fell...lol after finally getting him to admit he didnt tell the truth. i realized the hair spring looked disheveled or out of place not as neatly wound as it was, it ran for a little longer then stopped. Would this be an example of the "hair spring being out of poise" basically the watch ran perfect now it doesnt im sure he move the adjustments. Ive included pic of it and the movement. Also if there is any info on adjusting the hairspring and escapement. I could only upload video imageproxy.php?img=&key=77f0dcc5ac0f9d5bimageproxy.php?img=&key=77f0dcc5ac0f9d5bThanks

It might be bent/warped but can you show us some photos of the hairspring laying flat ?

That's how you can best tell... You can let it rest on the balance cock and take a photo of it like that...

If you've posted any photos I can't see them... just the video.
